[New feature] Travel direction display

Today I want to talk to you about cardinal directions (N, E, S, W). Cardinal directions are important concepts for using maps and compasses to find your location and destination. But I have recently discovered that not everyone is comfortable with them. Some people find it hard to remember which direction is which, or how to orient themselves on a map.

That’s why I have decided to make a change to the “Course & Heading” tile on our app. I have added an arrow that will show you the travel direction. Imagine a map with North fixed at the top. This arrow will point to the direction you are moving on the map. For example, if you are going east, the arrow will point to the right. If you are going southwest, the arrow will point to the bottom left.

This way, you don’t have to worry about cardinal directions anymore. You can just follow the arrow and see where you are going. I hope this feature will make your navigation easier and more enjoyable.

Of course, if you prefer a more traditional compass, you can still use it on the “Course” tab. There you can see the simulated compass and your heading in degrees.

I hope you like this update and find it useful. Please let me know what you think in the comments below. Thank you for reading!
